FANTASTIC PRODUCT FOR OLDER ADULTS

My 90-year-old friend lives far away and spends most of her day alone. She has trouble getting phones to work, even the most basic models, and I was worried she was becoming increasingly isolated. I decided to try a ViewClix, mostly because she doesn't need to do anything on her end to make it work. We both ABSOLUTELY LOVE this device. She says being able to see me makes her feel like I'm in the room, and I love that she doesn't have to struggle with swiping or pushing buttons to pick up the call. I talk to her for at least an hour every day, and this makes her much less lonely. She says it's the best present anyone has ever given her! She also likes looking at the photo slides but mostly we use it for video calls. It's not very expensive and it has brought so much joy into her life. BEST PRODUCT EVER FOR OLDER PEOPLE WITHOUT A LOT OF TECHNICAL SKILLS!!!

Having ViewClix the last 6 years of my mother's life (almost 99) was a phenomenal blessing. I discovered it during the Covid pandemic and only wish I had known about it sooner. My mom lived in Mississippi in her independent living apartment where she wanted to stay, well cared for by her long-term personal caregivers ... but 1,000 miles from me in Virginia. The screen was positioned in her living room, first beside her lift chair and later beside her hospital bed, and she didn't have to 'operate' it ... another blessing as her journey with dementia meant she could no longer use any devise. Posting and editing family photographs with captions, nature photos, her favorite scripture photos, special quote photos, and funny images were a treasure for her to view and read every day ... and she indeed repeatedly read them daily for years! ... and I could remotely control the hours of the day that it played. I also enjoyed posting 'notes' that would pop on the screen at various times, including reminders of how many days before I was coming to see her (every 4-6 weeks after Covid) or remind her of her favorite ice cream or flower. Another blessing was being able to talk to her remotely via video several times a day. The printed user instructions, software, and screen were very user-friendly, it was fairly easy to reboot when internet access was down, and helpful customer service folks were very responsive. I have praise alone for ViewClix! It was perfect blessing for staying connected daily to my dear mother in the last 6 years of her life. Thank you, ViewClix!!!!

This device has been great to continue communication with my father.
We had used a Google device which was proving difficult for him to see and push the connect button. This device is perfect! He quickly learned the alert sound, enjoys the larger screen and we like being able to connect quickly, easily and without frustration. And…I was able to set it up without having to call a techie family member.

My mother resides an hour away in an assisted living facility. She no longer is capable of using a cellphone or remote. Viewclix has allowed me and other family members to stay in touch with a video chat during our set time period. Setup was incredibly easy. My siblings and I conduct video calls with our mom every week to stay in touch. The Viewclix frame is great, because there isn't anything she has to do other than go sit in front of the frame and we all show up. Managing the frame is user friendly and any questions I've had are promptly addressed by Viewclix support staff.

This product works great and doesn't need any functions to push or do on the receiving end. It's like a phone call, but my elderly parent doesn't need to pick up the phone. The picture is clear, the sound works and sharing pictures in a photo album slideshow is wonderful to watch. This keeps my elderly parent, who has memory issues, engaged watching all the familiar family photos. Our family loves it!

Mom isn’t the only one that loves the Viewclix, we all love it. It allowes my wife & I and our children load photos and share memories remotely. We also visit her often and observed her viewing the screen and watching the photos pop up.
We have the viewclix set up to see her if she is in bed or sitting in her chair. If you call, she often notices right away that you are there!
Last fall our viewclix fell and cracked the screen. The Viewclix team had a replacement sent out to us right away! Once you have it, you don’t want to be without it. Thanks, to Viewclix we can connect anytime I t is a game changer.

I bought this because a cousin who i am very close to developed Alzheimers and I wanted something to help friends and family to stay in touch that she did not have to manage. The system is well made, easy to set up and manage remotely, and easy to add new users. I've set it up so my cousin only has to sit in front of it. The slide show feature is great. The two areas for improvement. First, when you initiate a call to the unit, it only rings once then turns on. There needs to be an option for multiple rings. Second, the stand has a fixed angle, needs to be a stand that can adjust the angle. One last comment...the caller needs to have their cellphone on a fixed stand---handheld with minor movement seriously degrades the image quality the person sees ... this needs to be emphasized. Otherwise, this unit is fantastic for your person to use.
