À welcome addition to our routine

I installed a VewClix large screen in my 90 yo mom’s appartment. She insisted the screen not stay on all the time day and night, so the programing turned out to be very convenient. She loved the photos and videos and kept asking for more, so expect to keep the content fresh. She really love the videos calls. We’ve increased calls frequency with ViewClix as it is so easy, and casual. So much better than just phone, and way easier than Zoom or other conferencing tools, too challenging for seniors with onset of alzheimer. Overall Im very happy with the functionality and performance of my ViewClix and recommend it. One of the best Investments so far.

The best way to keep connected!

Dad entered a care facility with the most amazing tool ever. Our family photos were shared on the ViewClix. Over 500 pictures from his large extended family! A conversation starter and the maker of new memories. The automatically answered video calls allowed Dad to hear all of the great things happening in each of his children’s lives!

Our Mother LOVED the Tablet

"If you are looking for a way to stay connected with an elderly parent, ViewClix is the answer. For our mother (90s), the ability to see new photos throughout the day and join video calls has been wonderful. We also utilize the 'daily playback' feature for her favorite music, which she thoroughly enjoys. The setup is user-friendly, and the support team is top-notch—always replying quickly to any questions. It has made a world of difference for our family."

Great Idea, Needs Noise Blocking Tech

Michael K from New York

This has been a great way for my brothers and I to reach out to our mother, who has been in a nursing home for a year after a bad stroke left her immobile and blind (but still very talkative!).

She could never find her phone, or get Siri to answer the phone, so the ability to establish a connection without her doing anything was the key feature.

The connection works well over the Internet, but the device lacks the ability to block background noise. If her roommate's TV is on, or a call bell is clanging, or a fan is spinning, it gets in the way of smooth conversation. For some reason, visitors or nurses keep shifting (or unplugging!) the device, so it isn't always pointing to where mom is sitting/laying in the room, but that's a niggle.

Great Communication Device

ViewClix works great to be able to chat with my Aunt. I live in South Carolina, and she lives in Hawai'i. We get to see one another during our long-distance visit. It helps her feel better connected.

Best thing ever!

While my siblings live close to our mom and can visit her often, I’m 2,000 miles away. Thanks to ViewClix, I’m still able to spend time with her every day. Mom loves that she can not only hear me but also see me—in what she happily calls “real time.” It’s incredibly easy for her to use, and for all of us to upload photos and videos. Even her friends can connect with her through it. Truly worth every penny.

Keep in touch with Mom

My mother is 93 and is currently receiving hospice services at home in Florida. She is stable and lives alone with one of us kids traveling from New York to spend two weeks of every month with her. We all use the ViewClix to communicate with her. The device is very reliable and easy to use. Family members can add photos to the slideshow that runs when you are not doing a video chat. The only complaint I have is that the quality of the video is not very good…it is better from the end of the person with the device but quality is quite poor from my Mac desktop and my iPad. That being said, you can set it up so that your elderly family member doesn’t have to touch any buttons and just needs to sit in front of the device when he/she hears the call tone, making it a very user friendly device for the elderly.

Fantastic Product

We have been using ViewClix for over 5 years and absolutely love it. It enabled us to remain in close contact with our father in the UK. What appealed particularly was the lack of any digital 'know how' or 'necessary interaction' on his part (which was vital as he was not digitally minded). We'd failed with other frames as we needed something that he didn't need to initiate or interact with at all (even to answer the call or hang up). Set up was simple. Creating the account and having friends and family members connected meant anyone we specified could call him at anytime to speak to him by video and upload photos and even leave post it notes. While we were not using it to communicate, the frame continually showed reels of photos so he always felt connected. I can't recommend this highly enough for elderly people (or really anyone) you want to stay connected to.

Great way to check in on mom

My mother’s gerontologist mentioned Viewclix, so I checked it out and decided to give it a try. It was very easy to set up and works really well. Great for checking in on my mother, who lives alone. I visit her in person once a week, but being able to check in between visits is super helpful.

Not great for our circumstances

We bought this for my mom for her 90th birthday in May. She is 80af with hearing aides. Thinking it would help her stay in communication with her family since she’s a good lip reader and the large screen would facilitate that. However, If she’s not in the room with the view clix she can’t hear it “ring”. I think it’s a great product. It’s just not great for our circumstances. She’s maybe used the view clix 4x’s . She mainly uses her closed caption phone instead.
